Janata Mahavidyalaya, Chandrapur Celebrates NSS Day with Great Enthusiasm
Chandrapur, 24th September 2025 :— Janata Mahavidyalaya, Chandrapur celebrated NSS Day with great fervor and enthusiasm in the college auditorium. The event highlighted the values of social service, discipline, and leadership among students through various speeches and shared experiences.

The President of the program was Dr. K. S. Thakare, Head of the Department of Physical Education. The event was graced by Dr. Mohit Sawe from Vivekananda Mahavidyalaya, Bhadrawati, who attended as the Guest Speaker.
In his enlightening address, Dr. Sawe spoke on the topic, “Importance of NSS in College Life”, emphasizing how NSS plays a crucial role in shaping socially responsible and aware citizens. He motivated students to actively participate in community development through NSS activities.
The program also had the esteemed presence of dignitaries on the dais including:

The event commenced with an introductory speech by NSS Program Officer Mr. Amar Balki, who welcomed the guests and highlighted the achievements of the NSS unit.
Adding a personal touch to the occasion, Mr. Krantiveer Sidam and Miss. Tanuja Dewalkar, active NSS volunteers, shared their heartfelt experiences and learning through various NSS activities.
The celebration concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by Prof. H. R. Atram, who expressed gratitude towards all the guests, faculty, and students for their participation and support in making the event a grand success.
The event was a resounding success and served as a reminder of the vital role NSS plays in nurturing responsible and compassionate youth in today’s society.
